Hungarian Sports Localization Specialist – Football

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, localize, verify facts, translate, and modify sports-related content, primarily focused on football, while following established writing style guides and protocols.

• Perform market-specific research on local content, product and terminology trends, as well as optimal localization practices for the intended audience.

• Offer constructive feedback on written materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BA degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in the fields of linguistics, sports journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing.

• In-depth knowledge of sports, particularly football.

• Experience in the translation and localization of multimedia content, ideally including machine translations and their assessments.

• Native-level proficiency in the target language.

• Outstanding grammar and writing abilities in the native language.

• Strong skills in creative writing, proofreading, and editing in the native language.

• Solid practical knowledge of computers and mobile devices, including word processors and spreadsheets.

• Possession of a licensed version of Microsoft Office applications.

• Capability to work independently and remotely.
