Building Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assess damage to buildings at loss sites and estimate the costs for repairs.

• Determine the value of various items related to the buildings.

• Coordinate with the claims adjuster, policyholder, and various stakeholders, including contractors and restoration experts.

• Keep informed about material and labor costs, as well as advancements in technology.

• Adhere to the directives provided by the claims adjuster.

• Deliver the report and all pertinent information to the claims adjuster handling the case, allowing them to evaluate the compensation due to the policyholder.

• Offer insights into the likely cause of the loss, property depreciation, and whether a notice should be presented to Underwriting.
