Builder Finance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist Velocio managers by summarizing, presenting, and providing advice on all financial matters.

• Convert complex financial data into actionable insights that guide decision-making, enhance performance, and increase profitability.

• Collaborate with company managers in the recruitment of Loan Originators by modeling financial scenarios, evaluating market opportunities, and advising on compensation structures.

• Offer insights into long-term profitability and capture potential to facilitate successful and sustainable recruitment decisions.

• Oversee company compensation, from the initial drafting of agreements and adjustments in salaries or base cost centers to the approval of monthly commission, incentive, and override reports.

• Model current branches to advise on profitability dynamics, while coordinating product margins and commission rates for each market.

• Design, implement, and sustain financial reporting tools and dashboards for all management levels to ensure visibility into key dynamics.

• Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of financial reporting and KPIs for compensation purposes.

• Serve as a CHL representative for builder division joint ventures (10+), delivering all necessary financial reporting and support.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and mid-year forecasting, collaborating with senior management and joint venture shareholders to formulate strategic business decisions.

• Provide ad hoc analyses and reports to address emerging business needs from management.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of technology, both theoretical and practical.

• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Excellent analytical skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with the mortgage industry and financial concepts related to mortgages.

• This role requires 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.

• This role requires 5 years of experience in mortgage sales, secondary markets, and financial modeling.
