Build and Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components utilizing the approved technology stack.

• Convert functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.

• Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems following appropriate standards.

• Engage in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance enhancement.

• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams during release and production support.

• Implement CI/CD, Git, scripting, build/release automation, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment controls.

• Contribute to the creation of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as specified in the posting.

• Typically, 4 or more years in a related professional role; the exact threshold must align with the approved requisition.

• Practical experience with CI/CD, Git, scripting, build/release automation, containers, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment controls.

• Professional experience in building or supporting production software using core role technologies.

• Strong grasp of programming fundamentals, software design, data structures, and maintainable code.

• Experience with APIs, integrations, data stores, and applicable testing practices.

• Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system along with structured development workflows.

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot defects while clearly communicating technical findings.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.
