Budget Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Review the budgets of properties, investment companies, and operating entities for completeness, consistency, reasonableness, and compliance with established standards.

• Identify absent inputs, unusual variances, unsupported assumptions, and inconsistencies, while coordinating with budget owners to address these issues.

• Offer training, process guidance, and troubleshooting assistance to Property Managers and other budget owners during budgeting and forecasting cycles.

• Oversee the progress of budget submissions, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate any risks related to deadlines or data quality.

• Maintain annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts for corporate and property management entities.

• Assist in consolidating budgets into comprehensive entity-level profit-and-loss statements.

• Summarize notable changes, risks, and unresolved items for management's review.

• Keep budget calendars, review checklists, training resources, and process documentation up to date.

• Contribute to enhancements in budgeting tools, processes, and workflows.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Property Management, Accounting, Leasing, Construction, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely budgeting and forecasting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, accounting, or a similar field.

• Experience in supporting budgeting and forecasting for commercial real estate, property management, or another multi-entity organization.

• Strong grasp of financial statements, accrual accounting, budget-to-actual analysis, forecasting principles, and multi-entity reporting.

• Advanced Excel proficiency with the capability to analyze large datasets and identify inconsistencies and unusual trends.

• Ability to provide constructive feedback and effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.

• Capacity to work independently and meet recurring deadlines in a remote work setting.
