This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Manage daily incoming and outgoing ACATS transactions within industry timelines, ensuring the validation of client information, contra accounts, and asset eligibility throughout the complete transfer lifecycle.
• Process DTC / FOP (Free of Payment) transfers, ACATS Free Deliveries, Fail Reversals, and various nonstandard transfer types (PTR, PTD, RCL, RCR, FRV, MFC, PTF).
• Detect documentation and processing discrepancies, implement the appropriate reject procedures, and apply controls to mitigate errors.
• Manage communications with contra firms, transfer agents, and partner brokers, coordinating efforts regarding rejections, accelerations, reclaims, and necessary documentation.
• Execute mass account transfers and conversions, both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with engineering to automate daily self-clearing workflows.
• Propel continuous operational enhancements through root cause analysis, trend assessment, and updates to the control framework.
• Act as the firm's Subject Matter Expert on transfers, serving as a referral point for policy-related inquiries.
• Compile summary documentation for special projects and engage in cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
• A minimum of 2 years of ACATS experience, including hands-on usage of industry portals and a comprehensive understanding of the ACATS cycle, status progression, and industry timing requirements.
• Familiarity with NSCC / DTCC rules, FINRA Rule 11870, and the differences between standard and nonstandard transfer workflows.
• Understanding of U.S. broker-dealer back-office operations, encompassing DTC settlements, FOP transfers, Fund/SERV, and contra account formats among major U.S. broker-dealers.
• Capability to identify documentation and processing irregularities, draw logical conclusions, and suggest corrective actions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment with strict daily deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Metabase, or equivalent query tools, along with comfort in navigating internal tools, industry portals, ticketing systems, and Google/Microsoft document solutions.
• Adaptability to a changing regulatory landscape and involvement in a self-clearing operational development, while embodying our core values: Stay Curious, Have Empathy, Be Accountable.
• Hold the SIE and Series 99 (or higher securities license), or achieve a passing score on the Series 99 within the first 180 days of employment.
