Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell the complete product range of Boston Beer Company (BBC).

• Focus exclusively on selling products and expanding the number of product lines within retail accounts, including bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores.

• Identify significant accounts currently not carrying BBC products and create a strategy to engage these accounts.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandise presentation by constructing displays, reorganizing coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials to boost brand visibility.

• Collaborate with distributors to ensure order placements, product deliveries, and account growth.

• Conduct training sessions for waitstaff and bartenders, organize beer tastings, and host evening promotional events.

• Daily working conditions can vary significantly due to the customer-facing nature of the role.

• There may be occasional requirements to work on weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

• Some travel may be necessary for meetings and training sessions.

• Regular travel within the market to service retailers and wholesalers is expected.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated results-driven experience in outside sales or in the food and beverage sector.

• A highly competitive nature combined with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• A valid driver's license, a registered and insured vehicle, and the capability to drive continuously to and from accounts.

• Ability to frequently lift and move cases of beer.

• Capability to climb, kneel, and stoop regularly in order to organize and display point-of-sale materials.

• A Bachelor's degree is required.
