Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Promote the complete product lineup of Boston Beer Company.

• Concentrate on selling products and/or enhancing product lines in retail locations, including bars and restaurants, liquor and grocery stores, as well as convenience stores.

• Identify significant accounts that currently do not carry BBC products and devise strategies to establish business relationships with them.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandising through the creation of displays, reconfiguring coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials.

• Collaborate with distributors to ensure that orders are placed, products are delivered, and business expands at accounts.

• Conduct educational sessions for waitstaff and bartenders, organize beer tastings, and facilitate evening promotional events.

• Travel regularly within the market to support retailers and wholesalers.

• Participate in occasional meetings and training sessions.

• Occasionally work on weekends and holidays to meet business demands.

• Operate independently in a customer-facing field sales position.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of demonstrated, results-driven experience in outside sales or within the food and beverage sector.

• Strong competitive drive coupled with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Access to a registered and insured vehicle.

• Capability to drive continuously to and from various accounts.

• Ability to frequently lift and transport cases of beer.

• Proficiency in climbing, kneeling, and stooping to arrange and showcase point-of-sale materials regularly.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
