Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell the complete range of products from the Boston Beer Company (BBC).

• Maintain a dedicated focus on selling products and/or expanding the number of product lines in retail establishments (such as bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores).

• Identify key accounts that are currently not offering BBC products and create a strategic plan to establish business relationships with them.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandise by constructing displays, reorganizing coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials to boost brand visibility.

• Collaborate with distributors to ensure proper order placements, timely delivery of products, and sustained business growth at accounts.

• Conduct educational sessions for waitstaff and bartenders, manage beer tastings, and organize evening promotional events.

• Expect varied working conditions daily due to the customer-facing nature of the role.

• There may be occasional requirements to work on weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

• Some travel may be necessary for meetings and training sessions.

• Regular travel within the market is required to service retailers and wholesalers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated results-driven experience in outside sales or in the food & beverage sector.

• A strong competitive drive coupled with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• Possession of a valid driver's license, a registered and insured vehicle, and the capability to drive to and from accounts consistently.

• Physical ability to frequently lift and move cases of beer.

• Capability to climb, kneel, and stoop frequently to arrange and display point-of-sale materials.

• A bachelor's degree is required.
