This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in guiding Acorns and Acorns Early as they shape, launch, and expand the brand during a crucial phase of our growth.
• Spearhead impactful brand marketing initiatives, implement content creator strategies, and execute integrated activations with speed, creativity, and the energy characteristic of founders.
• Dive in enthusiastically to enhance our brand platform, broaden upper-funnel outreach, introduce new products, and strengthen our connections with young investors and parents.
• Develop Integrated Campaigns: Create and implement compelling, content-driven brand campaigns across social media, digital platforms, in-app experiences, PR, partnerships, experiential marketing, and influencer channels.
• Write Creative Briefs & Positioning: Develop outstanding brand positioning, creative briefs, and marketing strategies that link cultural moments directly to the Acorns brand mission.
• Execute End-to-End: Take ownership of the campaign lifecycle from initial concept through execution and post-launch optimization, ensuring impeccable delivery.
• Utilize Emerging AI Tools: Actively incorporate AI tools and workflows into the creative development process to enhance content production, boost campaign responsiveness, and explore innovative storytelling formats.
• Manage Agencies & Partners: Represent the Brand Marketing team confidently with external agencies, creators, and internal leadership, adeptly navigating legal and compliance requirements.
• Drive Creator Marketing: Support comprehensive creator and influencer marketing strategies, ranging from broad brand awareness to conversion-driven demand.
• 6–9 years of experience in brand marketing, social media strategy, branded content initiatives, or influencer/creator management.
• Demonstrated success in executing multi-channel, social-first integrated campaigns from inception to completion.
• Outstanding strategic judgment and a comprehensive understanding of internet culture, social trends, and community engagement.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration to work seamlessly with creative teams, legal departments, compliance officers, and agency partners.
• A passion for delivering transformative products and campaigns that reshape how families manage their financial well-being.
• Exceptional drive and precision in execution, with the ability to manage projects and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines. You are comfortable with contracts, workback schedules, and compliance reviews.
• AI Curiosity & Aptitude: A keen interest in and practical experience applying generative AI tools throughout workflows—from copy ideation to content asset creation—to enhance productivity and speed.
