Branch/Yard Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide customers with detailed information regarding products and services.

• Accurately pick customer orders.

• Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles utilizing a forklift truck.

• Ensure orders are processed accurately and within designated customer deadlines.

• Serve customers at the trade counter when necessary.

• Engage with customers effectively.

• Deliver goods using the company vehicle when required.

• Support stock management, warehouse activities, yard operations, and overall branch functions.

• Help maintain efficient and safe branch operations while upholding expected customer service standards.

• Assist in the branch's transition from Broxburn to Uphall.

• Strong communication skills.

• Basic customer service experience.

• Proficiency in literacy and numeracy.

• A diligent and supportive attitude.

• Willingness to undergo training in all operational aspects.

• Awareness of health and safety protocols in a workplace.

• Valid forklift truck license.

• Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.

• Fundamental computer knowledge is advantageous.
