This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Investigate and resolve claims for bodily injuries represented by attorneys within the Extended Handler Bodily Injury Casualty Unit.
• Verify the facts surrounding complex automobile accidents.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages involved.
• Negotiate settlements within the limits of assigned authority.
• Mentor and provide support to junior team members.
• Contribute to maintaining consistent, high-quality claims processing and team development.
• Evaluate subrogation or fraud potential and determine the appropriate handling for intricate cases.
• Utilize a comprehensive understanding of company and industry insurance policies along with organizational relationships.
• Conduct thorough investigations of all aspects of complex auto claims, including coverage, liability, and damages, exercising discretion and independence.
• Review, assess, and negotiate moderate to complex injury claims as necessary.
• Recognize vehicle body parts and other potential property damages.
• Identify customer needs and fulfill them using suitable customer service skills.
• Strong background in assessing bodily injuries and investigating coverage.
• Capability to manage a substantial caseload while maintaining a customer-centric and empathetic approach.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient analytical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of auto insurance claims.
• Expertise in bodily injury claims.
• Skills in injury assessment.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Competence in organizing and prioritizing tasks.

• Strong time management skills.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Colossus is advantageous.
• Experience with Louisiana State claims is a plus.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Applicants holding active insurance licenses must terminate all current appointments prior to onboarding and are prohibited from holding outside appointments during employment.
• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.
• A dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions is required.
• Reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
