This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Assess and analyze disability claims from the comfort of your home.
β’ Become a part of Dane Street's Disability Peer Review team as an independent contractor.
β’ Enjoy flexibility in your scheduling and workload.
β’ Board Certification in Rheumatology is required.
β’ Must possess a current, unrestricted medical license.
β’ Previous experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews is preferred.
β’ The independent consultant position allows for schedule flexibility and predictable working hours. You have the autonomy to choose services and case types, determine your workload, and conduct your work based on your availability.
β’ There is no establishment of a doctor/patient relationship, and no treatment is provided; the opinions given are advisory only.
β’ The typical turnaround time (TAT) is 3-5 business days, depending on the level of review. Dane Street will keep you informed of required turnaround times and will carefully manage all administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on clinical decision-making.
β’ Dane Street provides a streamlined case flow and a user-friendly work portal. We handle all communication, organize and sort medical records, support all administrative processes, thoroughly prepare cases, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of all reports and determinations.
β’ Dane Street offers initial training along with an ongoing point of contact for any questions you may have about completing reviews.
