This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Solutions Architects, and business stakeholders to guarantee that the technical solution meets comprehensive business requirements.
• Ensure the delivery of new business requirements by leveraging out-of-the-box Helix capabilities, introducing customizations only when absolutely necessary.
• Establish technical standards and development guidelines, ensuring the team's adherence to approved Helix architecture patterns.
• Oversee the quality, performance, and scalability of BMC Helix solutions provided by the development team.
• Show proven capability to debug and resolve issues during SIT, UAT, and Production phases by examining AR System logs, API traces, CMDB data, and platform diagnostics.
• Create automation tools, utilities, and deployment solutions to enhance team productivity and effectiveness in delivery.
• Participate with telecom technology and architecture teams in governance forums to ensure alignment with the enterprise technology strategy.
• Possess an active Security clearance, or be eligible to reactivate an expired clearance, or qualify for obtaining a security clearance.
• Have over 10 years of experience in IT within the telecom sector, spanning various SDLC phases, including design, development, and solution delivery.
• Accumulate 5+ years of practical experience in implementing and architecting BMC Helix / BMC Remedy ITSM solutions, covering Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB, and Discovery.
• Exhibit strong prior experience as a BMC Helix Technical Lead or Solution Architect, preferably in support of Tier 1 or Tier 2 telecom service providers.
• Demonstrate expertise in CMDB architecture, service modeling, data governance, reconciliation, normalization, and integration with OSS/BSS systems.
• Have hands-on experience with BMC Helix ITOM, including Event Management, Discovery, Integration Service, and automation workflows.
• Possess extensive experience in designing and developing solutions using Helix Innovation Studio, codeless applications, custom objects, and data models.
• Have a solid understanding of BMC AR System architecture, workflow customization, forms, filters, escalations, and APIs.
• Show hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations, webhooks, and creating robust data interfaces with telecom IT systems.
• Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Solutions Architects, and business stakeholders to ensure that the technical solution aligns with end-to-end business requirements.
• Ensure the delivery of new business requirements by maximizing OOTB Helix capabilities, introducing customizations only when necessary.
• Define technical standards and development guidelines, ensuring the team's alignment with approved Helix architecture patterns.
• Be accountable for the quality, performance, and scalability of BMC Helix solutions delivered by the development team.
• Demonstrate the ability to debug and resolve issues across SIT, UAT, and Production by analyzing AR System logs, API traces, CMDB data, and platform diagnostics.
• Develop automation, utilities, and deployment tools to enhance team productivity and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with telecom technology and architecture teams in governance forums to ensure alignment with enterprise technology strategy.
• Have hands-on experience with cloud deployments of BMC Helix (AWS/Azure) and a solid understanding of SaaS security and compliance frameworks.
