Blockchain Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• You will collaborate closely with the CTO as a member of the Engineering team.

• You will engage in communication and collaboration throughout the organization to develop and sustain our products.

• Contribute to the brainstorming, technical design, execution, and testing of product features that will revolutionize capital markets.

• Implement support for various blockchain frameworks and integrate our applications with multiple native blockchains.

• Design and deliver meticulously crafted REST APIs, interfaces, and database schemas to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.

• Develop internal back-office web applications: handling everything from user experience to database management and APIs.

• Produce high-quality software adhering to solid architecture and design principles that are scalable.

• Contribute to test automation within an agile team environment.

• Actively participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and postmortems while raising the standard for engineering best practices across the team.

• Document changes and create guides for the applications.

• Set up and maintain infrastructure: including the setup and security of blockchain nodes, wallets, and application servers.

• Write scripts to automate infrastructure deployment.

• Conduct regular maintenance on servers and nodes to ensure business continuity.

• Participate in on-call rotations for incident management.

• Document procedures and processes for infrastructure setup and maintenance.

• Provide technical support to our customers.

• Document solutions for recurring issues.

• Offer technical support to our operations team to address operational challenges.

• Perform operational duties on a rotational basis.

• Document operational procedures.

• Adhere to established processes to ensure compliance is maintained.

• Stay updated on developments in cryptocurrencies and digital assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is essential.

• 4-7 years of hands-on coding experience.

• Proficiency in developing applications using Typescript/JavaScript is required.

• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, React & Redux is a plus.

• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Significant experience in managing Linux servers is crucial.

• Foundational knowledge and programming experience with Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other cryptocurrencies is mandatory.

• Experience in building and deploying applications and services within cloud environments (AWS stack).

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intricate technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility.

• Professional experience in an agile development setting is required.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices.

• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and proven design skills; capable of critically evaluating the current system in terms of growth and stability.

• Experience in startup environments is preferred.
