This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute drone operations with a strong emphasis on safety compliance in line with industry best practices.
• Carry out data collection, primarily focusing on external inspections of wind turbine blades, with plans to extend to other inspections of wind turbines and energy infrastructure.
• Aid Operations in achieving effective data capture across various verticals.
• Offer comprehensive feedback to product and engineering teams regarding Zeitview or OEM technology.
• Formulate collection strategies based on specific project needs.
• Operate and troubleshoot remotely controlled equipment in demanding conditions.
• Keep current statuses updated using mission tools.
• Plan and assist in the development of operations training and workflows.
• Engage with local stakeholders to identify operational necessities.
• Travel to and from remote job locations throughout the United States.
• Provide assistance with training or special projects upon request.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is required.
• Proven experience with advanced data capture techniques utilizing a drone.
• Willingness to undertake 75% domestic travel in support of operations.
• Global Wind Organization training certifications or readiness to complete the necessary courses.
• Ideal candidates will have previous experience conducting external inspections of wind turbine towers and blades.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Adaptability to various working environments is essential.
• Experience in implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and individuals to achieve consensus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Capacity to lift 50 lbs with ease.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work at heights.
• Capability to work outdoors throughout the year.
• Compliance with random drug screening and background checks is necessary.
• Willingness and ability to travel 75% of the time (3 weeks on / 1 week off).
