Blade Data Capture Specialist – Internal Inspections

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Collection of field data

• Perform inspections of wind turbine blades and other infrastructure using crawler technology, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Execute image and data capture missions with exceptional accuracy and minimal errors

• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot remote-controlled equipment in various field conditions

• Achieve data capture performance targets, including completion rates, data management, image quality, safety metrics, and project communication

• Train new Data Capture Specialists or Contractors based on the proficiency of employees

• Safety & Compliance

• Uphold high safety standards during all operations in accordance with industry best practices, company policy, and regulatory guidelines

• Adhere to and maintain necessary product-specific certifications and qualifications such as FAA Part 107, GWO, LOTO, and Confined Space

• Operational Support

• Aid in forecasting equipment needs and organizing site logistics in collaboration with Operations Coordinators

• Keep mission status updated using internal tools to ensure stakeholder visibility

• Effectively communicate with local site contacts to grasp project requirements and constraints

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in wind turbine inspections and advanced data capture methods

• Possession of Global Wind Organization training certifications or a willingness to complete the necessary courses

• Willingness to travel domestically 75%-100% to support operations

• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting strict deadlines

• Essential adaptability to varied working environments

• Experience in implementing and managing client Scope of Work (SOW) goals

• Ability to collaborate with various teams and individuals to reach a consensus

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Capability to lift 50 lbs with ease

• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods

• Willingness to work at heights

• Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
