Biotech Investment Analyst – Drug Asset & Company Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and evaluate rubrics that assess commercial pharmaceuticals and drug development initiatives.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the company and its assets, including mechanisms, clinical evidence, competitive standing, and value determinants.

• Assess the quality of investment-oriented theses.

• Identify weak, overly confident, or absent assumptions.

• Implement evaluations across approximately 5–10 companies during the pilot phase.

• Engage in a compensated pilot lasting 10–20 hours over the course of 1–2 weeks.

• Contribute to projects that focus on training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US-based investment analyst specializing in biotech or healthcare.

• Background in specialist funds is essential.

• Knowledge of biotech and pharmaceutical development programs is required.

• Capability to evaluate a drug asset and the associated company comprehensively.

• Over 5 years of experience in assessing biotech or pharmaceutical companies or assets.

• Unable to accommodate H1-B or STEM OPT candidates currently.

• This role is for independent contractor engagement.
