This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.
• Drive customer-facing sales opportunities to achieve or surpass sales targets.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales Central Europe to formulate and implement a territory sales strategy.
• Foster the development of the opportunity funnel and maintain discipline using a leading CRM system.
• Engage in sales and negotiations with technical and procurement teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with existing and prospective target accounts throughout the territory, in alignment with the broader commercial organization.
• Sell across the full product range, aiding customers as they progress through the clinical pipeline from laboratory phase to commercial scale operations.
• Provide Manufacturing and Quality operations with necessary information for forecasting, addressing customer complaints, and conducting facility audits.
• Carry out all facets of field sales activities and customer interactions, including regular site visits, technical presentations, innovation days, and preparation and follow-up of quotes.
• Participate in, manage, and follow up on all marketing communications and trade show initiatives, ensuring timely lead management.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
• At least 5 years of experience within the biopharmaceutical or life sciences sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Cell Culture, Chromatography, and Filtration processes.
• Proven track record of successful sales and key account management.
• Demonstrable skills in Prospecting and Qualification.
• Strong analytical capabilities and forecasting abilities.
• Completion of professional Sales and Negotiation training programs.
• Awareness of AI and basic competency in its application.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory (50%).
