This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Meet sales objectives by utilizing a consultative, value-oriented selling strategy.
• Allocate around 75% of time in the field, engaging directly with clients.
• Formulate and execute strategic territory plans to enhance market presence and optimize customer success.
• Oversee and expand current accounts while seeking new opportunities in the biopharma and pharmaceutical industries.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for scientists and key decision-makers.
• Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to provide a cohesive and exceptional customer experience.
• Keep precise and current opportunity pipelines and forecasts using Salesforce.com.
• Represent Bio-Techne’s values and offerings at trade shows, vendor events, and customer locations.
• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in a scientific discipline or a related field is essential for understanding the product’s applications effectively.
• More than 5 years of experience in technical sales within the life science tools research market (biotech, biopharma, pharma, academia).
• Previous experience in selling high-value capital equipment is mandatory.
• Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is required.
• A comprehensive understanding of relevant scientific techniques, applications, and research interests (e.g., Capillary Electrophoresis, Micro-Flow Imaging, High-Value Capital Equipment) is necessary.
