Bioinformatics Patent Agent / Patent Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Join Kilpatrick's Chemistry & Life Sciences Patent Prosecution team.

• Manage patent prosecution responsibilities associated with bioinformatics and artificial intelligence.

• Work in conjunction with legal and technical teams on patent-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a USPTO-registered Patent Agent or Patent Attorney.

• Possess a solid educational background and/or industry experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.

• An advanced degree (MS or PhD) is preferred.

• Minimum of three years of relevant patent prosecution experience.

• High level of knowledge and hands-on experience in both software and biological sectors.

• Must be highly detail-oriented.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in technical writing is considered a strong advantage.

• Must have admission (or be qualified for admission) to the state bar corresponding to the primary office location.
