This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Assist in the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of BIM standards, workflows, templates, model health procedures, and project setup methodologies.
• Aid project teams in consistently applying BIM standards and expectations across models, documentation, and deliverables.
• Evaluate BIM models for health, integrity, consistency, and alignment with both project and organizational standards.
• Facilitate the implementation of the BIM Execution Plan by helping teams convert project requirements into actionable BIM workflows.
• Create, review, or maintain Revit families, schedules, parameters, and supporting content to fulfill project and organizational requirements.
• Contribute to the documentation, training, and communication of BIM standards, best practices, and workflow expectations.
• Develop or assist in creating scripts, automation tools, QA/QC processes, reports, or repeatable workflows that enhance BIM quality, efficiency, and user experience.
• Provide support to project or sector teams with modeling, documentation, coordination, or production-related BIM tasks as necessary.
• Keep updated knowledge of BIM software applications, tools, and technologies, and recommend enhancements to support improved project delivery.
• Engage in coordination, training, company, client, or industry activities as required.
• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
• An Associate degree in a relevant BIM field, such as BIM/CAD Technology, along with 6 years of relevant, progressive experience, or 8 years of progressive experience without a degree using BIM to generate mechanical and electrical drawings in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or electrical disciplines is required.
• Intermediate knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in engineering design, architecture and engineering (A&E) industry standards, codes, and design guides are required.
• Intermediate working knowledge and understanding of BIM technology, the interoperability of BIM software platforms, computing technologies, and industry-specific standards are necessary.
• Advanced competency in Revit, Dynamo, Imaginit Clarity, and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 is required.
• Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Recap is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
• Experience in supporting BIM standards, model health practices, templates, project setup processes, or workflow documentation in a multi-discipline environment is preferred.
• Experience in creating, maintaining, or enhancing Revit families, schedules, shared parameters, templates, or standardized BIM content is preferred.
• Experience in assisting designers or project teams through BIM training, documentation, technical guidance, or workflow support is preferred.
• Understanding of how BIM standards, Revit content, model setup, and workflow decisions affect project delivery, model performance, documentation quality, coordination, and long-term maintainability is preferred.
• Experience in developing or supporting automation, Dynamo scripts, QA/QC tools, reporting workflows, or repeatable BIM processes is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to designers at all levels, are essential.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
