BIM Mechanical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and model mechanical systems utilizing BIM software such as Revit or AutoCAD MEP.

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to seamlessly integrate mechanical systems into building designs.

• Develop comprehensive construction documents and specifications, including equipment schedules, ductwork layouts, and piping diagrams.

• Conduct calculations and simulations to ensure the performance, safety, and compliance of mechanical systems with industry standards and building codes.

• Execute clash detection and suggest design modifications as necessary.

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models from BIM software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in design and modeling with BIM software.

• Experience in the US is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM software.

• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

• Familiarity with construction industry practices and standards.

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and contractors.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• A strong internet connection is required for remote work.

• Willingness to work from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST.

• Proficiency in ASHRAE standards is requested in the application questions.
