BIM, Information Management Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, execution, and ongoing enhancement of Information Management and BIM processes across the Euston and FNICAP projects.

• Create, maintain, and enhance project BIM and Information Management SharePoint sites.

• Manage and configure project Common Data Environments, including REBIM.

• Oversee project information structures, permissions, and documentation repositories.

• Distribute, manage, and evaluate BIM competency and training surveys.

• Identify knowledge gaps and formulate targeted training programs.

• Develop and deliver BIM and Information Management training, workshops, presentations, and user manuals.

• Provide continuous support and guidance to project teams, suppliers, and document controllers.

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, generating monthly compliance and document health reports.

• Assess document quality, metadata completeness, delivery timelines, overdue documentation, team and supplier performance, and Information Management maturity.

• Create compliance trackers and monitoring tools.

• Perform information assurance and housekeeping audits.

• Ensure adherence to document control and Information Management protocols.

• Validate naming conventions, metadata, revision management, status codes, approvals, workflows, filing structures, information delivery requirements, TIDPs, and MIDPs.

• Document non-compliances, corrective measures, and lessons learned.

• Maintain project models within OpenTree and associated information repositories.

• Manage previous model versions and upload, organize, and maintain approved model information.

• Support model coordination and facilitate clash detection processes as necessary.

• Oversee clash resolution efforts and assist with model coordination challenges.

• Update and maintain EIR, IPR, BEP, procedures, templates, guidance documents, responsibility matrices, TIDPs, and MIDPs.

• Ensure documentation aligns with ISO 19650 standards and industry best practices.

• Identify process enhancements, capture lessons learned, and establish meaningful KPIs.

• Aid in project mobilization and contribute to enhanced reporting, training, procedures, and governance frameworks.

• Continue to develop technical BIM and Information Management expertise.

• Engage in ongoing training for Revit, Solibri, and Navisworks.

• Stay updated on ISO 19650, Information Management standards, and industry best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in supporting BIM and Information Management initiatives on complex infrastructure, construction, or engineering projects.

• Familiarity with ISO 19650 Information Management principles and requirements.

• Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs).

• Understanding of document control processes and information governance.

• Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics utilizing Power BI.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in maintaining BIM and Information Management documentation.

• Capability to provide training and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across project teams.

• Knowledge of clash detection and model coordination workflows.

• Experience in rail, defence, infrastructure, or major program environments.

• Experience in supporting TIDP and MIDP management.

• Familiarity with digital assurance and compliance auditing practices.

• Ongoing training in BIM and digital engineering software, including Revit, Solibri, and Navisworks.

• All applicants must meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard as a minimum.

• Higher National Security Vetting may necessitate 5 to 10 years of continuous UK residency.

• The role is subject to security and export control restrictions, including limitations based on nationality, previous nationalities, and place of birth.
