This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of billing records for intricate customer and/or patient accounts.
• Handle payments and adjustments efficiently.
• Engage with customers to address inquiries and provide pertinent information.
• Collaborate with both internal and external customers to collect support data and guarantee billing precision.
• Resolve complex billing challenges and assist junior staff by addressing their daily inquiries.
• Reprocess insurance denials and submit required documentation to facilitate payment.
• Keep precise billing records and files consistently.
• Work alongside other departments to address billing and payment concerns.
• Generate monthly and quarterly billing reports for management review as required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in billing, finance, or collections is essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail is required.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and other related billing software is a must.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
