This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Prepare, edit, and submit billing for accounts in accordance with client contracts or payer guidelines.
β’ Ensure that invoices are submitted accurately and promptly, adhering to established policies and procedures.
β’ Address biller-related discrepancies in the error work queue.
β’ Submit changes to system contracts and fee schedules as necessary.
β’ Include all required documentation with invoices.
β’ Update facility census changes and carry out necessary rebilling tasks.
β’ Request any missing documentation from clients, physicians, or patients.
β’ Access client files to verify insurance details when needed.
β’ Identify issues and inform the supervisor about any area or compliance concerns.
β’ Complete reports in accordance with assigned deadlines.
β’ Verify and update insurance information every 30 calendar days.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent.
β’ Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance billing and eligibility.
β’ At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Teams.
β’ Exceptional time management skills.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
β’ Intermediate knowledge of medical terminology.
β’ Intermediate typing skills, with a minimum of 35 words per minute.
β’ Strong customer service abilities.
β’ Intermediate communication skills.
β’ Intermediate computer skills.
β’ Committed, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
β’ Emphasis on work-life balance.
β’ No travel is required.
