Billing Migration, Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Analyze and document current billing processes, rating structures, discounts, credits, and invoicing logic within Tekton.

• Convert legacy billing logic into requirements and configurations for future states within aBILLity.

• Assist with data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and preparation for migration activities.

• Lead billing validation, reconciliation, parallel-run testing, and user acceptance testing.

• Identify migration risks, billing gaps, and opportunities for process improvements, ensuring issues are resolved.

• Work collaboratively with technical teams, business analysts, operational stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.

• Create documentation that details migration rules, testing results, controls, and operational handovers.

• Provide support for cutover planning, go-live activities, and post-implementation hypercare.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in supporting billing system migrations, transformation programs, or platform replacements.

• Practical experience with aBILLity billing systems.

• Strong understanding of billing logic, tariffs, recurring and usage charges, discounts, bundles, and invoice cycles.

• Significant experience collaborating with Finance teams on billing assurance, reconciliations, and revenue-impacting decisions.

• Ability to analyze complex data and trace billing outcomes back to source systems and business rules.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.

• Extensive experience in telecom billing environments is preferred, ideally encompassing mobile, fixed-line, connectivity, managed services, or subscription-based services.
