Billing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Execute the implementation of the anti-fraud tool across all products, developing and maintaining rules to guarantee their effective functionality.

• Address billing-related customer inquiries through support channels, resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.

• Gather and analyze information with meticulous attention to detail when making decisions that impact finances or involve customer payments.

• Manage risks by preventing chargebacks and fraud, monitoring VAMP & ECM ratios, and ensuring continuous transaction oversight.

• Collaborate with alert systems and process alerts using PSP and acquirer partner dashboards; address disputes with customers or banks that have submitted chargeback requests.

• Align anti-fraud tool rules with the payment orchestrator to ensure seamless operation of filters without conflicts, and track traffic drop-off caused by overlapping anti-fraud mechanisms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing/payment operations or fraud/risk management, focusing primarily on chargebacks, disputes, and fraud monitoring.

• Hands-on experience with the complete chargeback management cycle — alerts (Ethoca/Verifi) from third-party services such as Chargebackhelp, SEON, Merchanto, Disputer, or Dispu.

• Practical knowledge of anti-fraud tools such as SEON, Sift, Riskified, Kount, Feedzai, Forter, or similar, along with a strong understanding of rule configuration.

• Familiarity with card scheme dispute programs: Visa VDMP/VFMP, Mastercard ECM; understanding of reason codes, escalation stages, and the implications of entering a monitoring program.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize patterns in approval rates, decline reasons, and fraud trends.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in written English.

• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
