Billing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement billing processes across the Owner's business units, ensuring precise subscription management and timely adjustments processing.

• Reconcile transactions from Stripe with Salesforce and internal systems to maintain consistency across all platforms.

• Keep track of customer accounts for late payments and manage collections procedures.

• Work in conjunction with customer service, sales, and launch teams to address billing inquiries.

• Enhance billing practices by identifying gaps, establishing controls, and promoting consistency throughout systems.

• Create and sustain documentation for billing and collections protocols.

• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing activities related to Stripe transactions.

• Contribute to and/or lead special projects as business needs evolve.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or finance — preferably in a SaaS or rapidly growing startup environment.

• Direct experience with Stripe, including subscription management, invoicing, refunds, and resolving disputes.

• Familiarity with CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Proven ability to build or enhance workflows and processes.

• Strong analytical capabilities — adept at working with data to investigate billing problems and derive operational insights (Excel/Sheets required, SQL or similar knowledge is a plus).

• Fully fluent in English (C2), with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently in both written and verbal forms to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capable of working cross-functionally and independently managing relationships with business stakeholders.

• A strong sense of ownership — this individual will serve as the main contact for their area, expected to operate autonomously and exercise sound judgment.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a keen sense of when to escalate issues versus resolving them independently.

• Extensive experience with SaaS subscription models and multi-product billing is strongly preferred.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
