This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conducts continuous evaluations to address the needs of the patients served.
• Facilitates communication among supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and relevant individuals regarding an individual's progress.
• Provides a monthly itinerary to supervisors detailing appointments, home visits, and observations to track work progress.
• Organizes home, work, and/or community visits to fulfill the requirements for observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.
• Ensures the effective and proper implementation of the Behavior Intervention plan.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other relevant meetings as necessary.
• Completes monthly and/or quarterly progress notes.
• Coordinates training to ensure staff and team members are proficient in the implementation of the Behavior Intervention Plan and/or documentation sheets.
• Conducts follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations to provide ongoing support for an individual's needs.
• Maintains comprehensive clinical records to ensure information is accessible to interested parties.
• Serves as a liaison with the public and the mental health community to foster the development of ongoing goals.
• Assists in developing procedures for training materials to enhance programs for those served.
• Engages in continuous education on behaviorally based interventions and techniques to remain competitive in the field.
• Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) designation.
• Must possess experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral interventions.
• Available to work until 8:00 PM PST.
• Must have experience with behavioral intervention and/or a strong educational background in learning and developmental psychology.
• Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a behaviorally challenged population.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, bending, and regularly transitioning from seated to standing positions.
