Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform reconciliation and analysis of the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring alignment between source systems (sales/billing) and accounting records, which directly contributes to the accuracy of the company’s financial data.

• Calculate, reconcile, and analyze additional balance sheet and income statement (P&L) accounts, collaborating closely with Finance, Controllership, and other pertinent teams.

• Assist in the monthly accounting close processes, with a focus on enhancing controls and minimizing discrepancies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: prior involvement in accounting processes, especially in account reconciliations (preferably accounts receivable) and support for monthly closing activities.

• Technical qualifications: familiarity with general accounting principles, chart of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, as well as preparation and analysis of the balance sheet and income statement (P&L).

• Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets.

• Experience with accounting ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

• Personal attributes: organized, detail-oriented, possessing an analytical mindset, capable of working independently, and demonstrating strong communication skills to engage with various teams.

• Nice to have: experience in reconciling receivables (credit card, boleto) and knowledge of revenue recognition.

• Education: degree in Accounting (either in progress or completed) and/or registration with the Regional Accounting Council (CRC).
