This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee relationships with designated Key Accounts and Tier 1-3 MGAs/NAs as a reliable operational partner.
• Act as an escalation point for distributors when standard support channels are unable to resolve issues.
• Facilitate cross-functional investigations, communications, and resolutions for complex operational challenges.
• Advocate for distributors and advisors while aligning with business requirements and operational standards.
• Inform stakeholders about alterations to programs, tools, and processes.
• Detect recurring issues, trends, and opportunities to enhance the distributor experience.
• Conduct training and enablement sessions on Manulife tools and processes.
• Engage in tier-based meetings, conferences, and relationship-building events.
• Establish and nurture relationships with distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Address escalated concerns and keep partners updated throughout the resolution process.
• Represent distributor and advisor viewpoints in small to medium-scale projects.
• Contribute to eNewsletters and Dealer Bulletins.
• Offer frontline insights to inform project decisions and outcomes.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with pilot programs and improve training materials in collaboration with Learning & Development.
• Aid in the planning and execution of the annual EDGE conference.
• Provide informal leadership and mentorship.
• Contribute to the team's value proposition, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven experience in the Canadian Insurance industry.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a relationship-focused role within the Financial Services sector.
• Direct experience in supporting the segregated fund business.
• Post-secondary education or relevant business experience.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
• Ability to communicate in both English and French to assist clients from various jurisdictions beyond Quebec.
• Strong skills in relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in problem-solving and escalation management.
• Capability to influence and collaborate across multiple business areas.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities.
• In-depth knowledge of the Canadian Insurance and wealth industry.
• Experience in delivering training, education, or enablement programs.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Comfortable discussing segregated fund products, compensation, and operational processes.
