
Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage all facets of the reimbursement process to ensure patients secure prescription drug coverage.
• Cultivate strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals by fostering confidence, trust, security, and relief.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, physicians, and healthcare providers to enhance reimbursement solutions.
• Assist patients in navigating the insurance landscape, guiding them on locating insurance forms, obtaining signatures, and submitting them to insurers for responses.
• Prepare, organize, and submit all necessary documentation to insurance providers as well as public and federal funding programs.
• Establish and maintain strong connections with key clinics and healthcare partners.
• Work in collaboration with pharmacy teams to initiate and finalize dispensing processes once funding is approved.
• Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms and reimbursement pathways.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality data entry into our database systems.
• Report Adverse Events / Severe Adverse Events (AE / SAEs) in compliance with SOP guidelines.
• Complete all relevant reports (time sheets, expenses, mileage, validate CRM reports, etc.) according to specified timelines and required standards.
• Maintain program data accuracy by reviewing program documentation for completeness and consistency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Bilingualism in English and French is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer or client service role.
• Previous experience in reimbursement, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Word, Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and courteous telephone manner with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven capability to problem-solve and think creatively to achieve effective outcomes.
