
Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and manage all necessary actions to secure prescription drug coverage for patients
• Collaborate with insurance providers, physician offices, and healthcare professionals to enhance reimbursement options
• Prepare and submit all required documentation and paperwork to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs
• Conduct financial means testing as needed
• Manage pharmacy processes once funding has been confirmed
• Acquire comprehensive knowledge of public, private, and federal funding systems
• Accountable for reporting any adverse events to the relevant departments
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in an office setting
• High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Professional, polite, and effective telephone communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask to meet competing deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is mandatory
• Bilingual in French and English is required
