Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage all necessary components to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.

• Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare professionals, and physician offices to optimize reimbursement solutions.

• Prepare and dispatch documentation along with all related paperwork to insurance providers and public/federal funding programs.

• Conduct means testing as necessary to enhance a patient's prescription drug coverage.

• Manage pharmacy processes needed once funding has been confirmed.

• Attain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.

• Accountable for reporting all adverse events to the relevant departments.

• Carry out additional duties and tasks as assigned periodically.

⛳️ Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in an office environment.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to organize time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities to meet competing deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is advantageous.

• Bilingualism (French/English) is a plus.
