
Bilingual Reimbursement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
⢠Oversee and manage all necessary components to secure prescription drug coverage for patients.
⢠Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare professionals, and physician offices to optimize reimbursement solutions.
⢠Prepare and dispatch documentation along with all related paperwork to insurance providers and public/federal funding programs.
⢠Conduct means testing as necessary to enhance a patient's prescription drug coverage.
⢠Manage pharmacy processes needed once funding has been confirmed.
⢠Attain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms.
⢠Accountable for reporting all adverse events to the relevant departments.
⢠Carry out additional duties and tasks as assigned periodically.
⢠Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
⢠A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in an office environment.
⢠Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
⢠Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone communication skills.
⢠Demonstrated ability to organize time, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities to meet competing deadlines.
⢠Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
⢠Keen attention to detail.
⢠Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
⢠Bilingualism (French/English) is a plus.
