This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and enhance the opportunities pipeline and sales within the designated region.
• Engage and collaborate proactively with both existing and prospective customers as well as the Sales Channel.
• Strategically plan and implement business development initiatives in the specified region, focusing on integrating SAMSON into customer Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs) and guiding form specifications.
• Manage leads and opportunities while qualifying companies across the defined region.
• Record all customer interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Organize and conduct Sales Meetings and Lunch & Learns as necessary.
• Participate in customer visits arranged by the sales channel, as needed.
• Follow up on all proposals, either directly or in partnership with the Inside Sales Team and sales channel.
• Attend webinars, meetings, and training sessions as required.
• Submit monthly expense reports utilizing online tools.
• Strategically plan territory coverage for optimal time efficiency.
• Offer technical support through documentation, drawings, customer training, site visits, and demonstrations.
• Advocate for and inform clients about the SAMSON range of products, services, and solutions.
• Collaborate with fellow regional sales managers, sales leadership, and other departments.
• Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in Industrial or Process Automation sales.
• Preference for candidates with technical knowledge of Valves, Actuators, and other control components.
• Experience managing sales cycles ranging from 6 weeks to 2 years.
• Proven track record of managing a defined region with direct accounts and sales channels.
• Familiarity with using a CRM for all customer interactions.
• An energetic self-starter with a drive to achieve ambitious goals and think creatively.
• Proficient in oral and written communication in both English and French, coupled with strong presentation abilities.
• Strong orientation towards Customer Service and relevant skillset.
• Effective problem-solving skills and adaptability to navigate conflicts, setbacks, and changes.
• Detail-oriented individual with analytical skills, listening abilities, and innovative problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and possess strong computer skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage heavy workloads and multitasking demands.
• Valid Canadian Driver's license.
• Comply with OHSA regulations, company policies and procedures, and safety practices to ensure the safety of all employees on duty with SAMSON.
• Uphold SAMSON's Quality standards and adhere to the code of conduct policy.
• Engage in all mandatory company training sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
