This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the representative of Manulife Bank’s specialized lending team within a designated territory.
• Advocate for and provide assistance with specialized lending products and related banking solutions in partnership with Financial Advisors.
• Submit comprehensive packages to underwriting, showcasing transaction expertise, the financial strategy of the advisor, the client’s business, and the justification for bank involvement.
• Contribute to regional and national business growth by promoting new products, product enhancements, and special initiatives.
• Maintain consistent communication with advisors to manage and strengthen Advisor relationships.
• Collaborate with centers of influence, professional advisors, and end clients.
• Illustrate the advantages of incorporating specialized lending solutions into advisors’ insurance and investment businesses.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Communicate field feedback and suggestions for improving current products and services and for developing new offerings.
• Deliver specialized lending directly to end clients while actively working with Financial Advisors.
• Fully bilingual in both French and English.
• Exceptional consultative sales skills, encompassing prospecting, fact-finding, solution presentation, closing, and servicing.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in business or commercial banking.
• Strong capability to read and evaluate corporate financial statements in accordance with bank policies.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient negotiation abilities.
• Experienced in delivering presentations across various formats.
• Working knowledge of permanent life insurance.
• Ability to learn and apply technology for business purposes.
• Strong understanding of the financial services and banking industry.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks across a variety of responsibilities and prioritize workflows effectively.
• Experience in coordinating bank initiatives across various distribution channels.
• Proven experience working directly with advisors, professionals, and clients.
• Ability to evaluate the likelihood of the bank’s participation in a lending proposal following a preliminary review and analysis.
• Experience collaborating closely with Manulife Private Wealth, Retail, Insurance, and Securities partners.
