This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Complete recruitment cycle management – from promoting the position and sourcing candidates to offer acceptance, handling intake discussions, posting, screening, interviewing, and delivering offers, with an emphasis on providing an outstanding candidate experience.
• Collaboration with Hiring Leaders – we function as a true extension of business teams, possessing a deep understanding of the roles, the people, and their processes, which allows us to effectively position roles to candidates and describe their daily experiences at Medavie.
• Candidate management – evaluating resumes, conducting bilingual pre-screens and interviews, coordinating subsequent steps, and ensuring prompt and transparent communication.
• Recruitment management through our system – utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (Workday), you will guarantee accuracy, efficiency, and a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
• Execution of offers – you will collaborate with Hiring Leaders to create competitive offers for candidates, prepare all necessary offer documentation, verbally communicate offers to candidates, conduct negotiations, and guide candidates and leaders through acceptance and onboarding.
• Brand advocacy – you will consistently develop talent pipelines, engage with passive candidates, and implement innovative marketing strategies to attract top talent and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Partnership with HR – you will collaborate with other HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) including HR Business Partners, Learning and Development, Total Compensation, Benefits/Payroll, and IT to enhance recruitment initiatives, tools, and projects while ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Unionized hiring expertise in Quebec – act as the Talent Acquisition representative for QC unionized recruitment, ensuring full compliance with collective agreement requirements, guiding hiring leaders through their obligations, and supporting the Talent Acquisition team in consistently applying these rules.
• Career Events & Talent Engagement – Actively represent Medavie at both onsite and virtual career events across ATL, engaging talent, promoting career opportunities, enhancing our brand, and driving hiring results.
• Over 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience (preferred in-house), with a solid foundation in insurance operations, mid-level roles, and unionized hiring.
• Fully bilingual (French/English): Proficiency in French is essential to fulfill the responsibilities of this role, which include daily interactions with teams and partners in Québec who primarily communicate in French.
• A consultative, partnership-oriented approach—collaborating as one team with candidates, hiring leaders, and internal partners to achieve seamless and aligned hiring results.
• Experience collaborating with schools, community organizations, and external networks to cultivate diverse talent pipelines, including students, recent graduates, and newcomer talent.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing the Workday Recruitment module to oversee end-to-end hiring and onboarding processes, encompassing all phases of the recruitment lifecycle and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A self-motivated mindset with the ability to independently lead projects in a virtual working environment.
• Willingness to travel to onsite Career Fair locations within ATL as necessary.
