This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age groups.

• Manage psychopharmacological treatments for all psychiatric diagnoses.

• Provide medication-assisted therapy for individuals experiencing opioid use disorder (OUD) during active withdrawal or recovery.

• Deliver supportive psychotherapy, employ motivational interviewing techniques, and demonstrate proficiency in trauma-informed care, harm reduction strategies, and patient-centered approaches.

• Exhibit expertise in coordinating care among psychiatric, substance use treatment, and medical services.

• Offer direct support for both scheduled and walk-in patients.

• Complete validated rating scales documentation and treatment plans to aid in assessing the appropriate level of care.

• Coordinate care for patients, including psychological assessments, medical referrals, resources, peer support, housing assistance, and addressing other identified social determinants.

• Actively engage with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care providers, pediatricians, OB/GYNs, counseling staff, peer support personnel, and care coordinators.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and unrestricted medical license in both the state of residence and the state where medical services are rendered.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advance Practice Provider (required).

• Hold certification in Psychiatry (PMHNP or Psychiatry CAQ).

• Maintain a valid DEA license.

• Be bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

• Demonstrate a patient-first approach.

• Be comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
