Bilingual Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric diagnostic evaluations for general mental health and substance use disorders across all age groups.

• Manage psychopharmacological treatment for all psychiatric conditions diagnosed.

• Provide medication-assisted treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder who are in active withdrawal or recovery.

• Deliver supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and demonstrate expertise in trauma-informed care, harm reduction strategies, and patient-centered treatments.

• Exhibit proficiency in care coordination among psychiatric care, substance use treatment, and medical integration.

• Offer direct support for both scheduled and walk-in patients.

• Complete validated rating scales documentation and treatment plans to aid in assessing the appropriate level of care.

• Coordinate care for patients, including psychological testing, medical referrals, resources, peer support, housing, and other identified social determinants.

• Actively participate with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care providers, pediatricians, obstetricians/gynecologists, counseling staff, peer support personnel, and care coordinators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hold an active and unrestricted medical license in the state of residence and the state where medical services are provided.

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider (required).

• Have certification in Psychiatry (PMHNP or Psychiatry CAQ).

• Maintain a DEA License.

• Be bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
