This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Respond to all incoming patient calls in a timely manner (ensuring no missed calls).
• Organize and oversee patient appointments efficiently.
• Uphold exceptional phone etiquette and enhance the patient experience.
• Make sure patients feel acknowledged, supported, and appreciated.
• Inform patients about available services, including laser treatments, weight loss, and wellness programs.
• Assess patient needs and suggest suitable services.
• Effectively upsell and convert inquiries into confirmed appointments.
• Assist marketing initiatives through patient interactions.
• Process prior authorization requests.
• Coordinate referrals with other healthcare providers.
• Verify that all documentation and approvals are completed correctly.
• Address patient questions and follow-up communications.
• Utilize EClinicalWorks (ECW) for scheduling and documentation tasks.
• Employ RingCentral for phone communications.
• Manage multiple systems and patient management applications.
• Previous healthcare experience is REQUIRED (non-negotiable).
• Background in a medical office, clinic, or patient-facing healthcare position is preferred.
• Experience in sales or upselling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with EClinicalWorks (ECW) is a plus (not mandatory but preferred).
• Must demonstrate proficiency in clear spoken and written English.
• Relevant work experience is essential.
• Ability to provide an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check prior to onboarding [mandatory].
• Availability for video meetings with the camera on (as required).
• Device: A dependable laptop or desktop computer is necessary.
• Internet: A high-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps) is required.
• Audio: A noise-canceling headset is needed.
• Video: A webcam is required for virtual meetings.
• Workspace: A quiet, professional environment is essential.
