This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide tailored nutrition education and symptom management strategies for individuals affected by cancer, including patients and survivors.
• Accurately document services provided, ensuring timely data entry and appropriate follow-up actions.
• Design and deliver educational presentations for both internal staff and external audiences.
• Create nutrition-related content for blogs, literature, and social media platforms.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in cancer nutrition through reputable journals and sources.
• Represent Blood Cancer United at community events and conferences.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and a multidisciplinary team to manage various assignments.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian with an active registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Possess state licensure or certification as required.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nutrition counseling or clinical dietetics.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with databases is a plus.
