This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver telephonic assistance through inbound and outbound calls, virtual communications, and omnichannel support via email, chat, and text.
• Exhibit strong empathy and high emotional intelligence to effectively engage patients facing complex health conditions, fostering a relationship-based connection grounded in trust and rapport.
• Provide guidance and education regarding treatment and therapy, connecting patients with additional resources as necessary while collaborating with various stakeholders including Field Nurse Educators, HUB (Certified Pharmacy), and others to ensure that patients feel supported and confident throughout their therapy journey.
• Collaborate effectively within a POD structure (with the MLS Field Nurse Educator team) when applicable to identify gaps, barriers, and opportunities for enhancing processes and overall patient experience.
• Communicate complex information with clarity and empathy to patients and their caregivers.
• Accurately document patient engagements according to established criteria.
• Understand and coach patients on initiation and support processes, encouraging their confidence to begin and continue therapy.
• Ensure program success through collaborative relationships with patients, brand, and operational partners.
• Report Adverse Events and Product Quality Complaints in accordance with MLS and client policies.
• Associate’s degree in nursing with experience in patient education.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working for or contracting with a pharmaceutical company in a call center setting.
• Current, unrestricted RN or NP license.
• Background in neurological conditions and/or rare diseases.
• Proven ability to collaborate with various cross-functional partners and key stakeholders to optimize the patient experience.
• High emotional intelligence and the capacity to demonstrate empathy to meet patients where they are.
• Strong clinical skills and experience with medication compliance, specialty pharmacy knowledge, and motivational interviewing.
• Ability to convey complex information clearly in a manner that resonates with patients.
• Capacity to maintain patient confidentiality by utilizing a headset during all conversations and ensuring a distraction-free private environment in the home office.
• Actual salary will vary based on several factors, including the candidate’s skill set, experience, and competency for the role. Some positions may offer a car allowance and eligibility for targeted bonuses based on individual or company performance.
