Bilingual Mortgage Fulfilment Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Verification of documents related to residential mortgage applications from the initiation of new loans through to instructions for lawyers and notaries.

• Preparation and processing of all transactions and documentation associated with mortgages.

• Review of documents submitted by the Mortgage Specialist to ensure that the file is complete and all conditions have been fulfilled.

• Establishment and management of new mortgage business, along with processing the financial transactions related to it.

• Responding to routine inquiries from internal partners.

• Utilizing strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities to address various situations.

• Upholding a high level of accountability regarding workload and responsiveness.

• Assisting the team in meeting urgent deadlines and handling unforeseen increases in volume.

• Fostering and maintaining robust collaborative relationships with internal departments through exceptional customer service.

• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and sharing suggestions for enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully bilingual in French and English.

• General understanding of the residential mortgage sector and mortgage underwriting practices is a plus.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Previous banking experience is advantageous.

• Outstanding customer service abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated organizational and time management capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Ability to comprehend and accurately interpret legal mortgage documents.
