Bilingual Mortgage Fulfilment Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Examine documents submitted by Mortgage Specialists to confirm completeness and compliance with all conditions.

• Establish and manage new mortgage business operations.

• Handle financial transactions and documentation related to mortgages.

• Respond to standard inquiries from internal partners.

• Address issues, influence decisions, and uphold accountability for workload and response times.

• Assist the team in meeting tight deadlines and managing sudden increases in volume.

• Quickly respond to and resolve inquiries.

• Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments by delivering exceptional customer service.

• Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement and aid in the implementation of enhancements and efficiencies.

• Ensure that escalated complaint investigations reflect on customer experience.

• Adhere to Bank policies and standards regarding information handling, documentation, and mortgage discharge procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fully bilingual in French and English; required to communicate fluently in both languages.

• General understanding of the residential mortgage sector and mortgage underwriting practices is advantageous.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Prior experience in banking is a plus.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.
