• Deliver consecutive interpretation services between English and Italian across various fields such as medical, legal, and customer service.
• Ensure interpretation is accurate, clear, and neutral—maintaining the original tone, intent, and emotional context.
• Uphold confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Professionally manage call flow, including respectfully seeking clarification when necessary.
• Exhibit emotional intelligence, particularly in high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.
• Utilize short-term memory retention, active listening, and note-taking skills to handle extended conversations.
• Strictly adhere to the interpreter’s role without providing personal opinions or advice.
• Engage in continuous training, coaching, and feedback sessions to sustain and improve performance.
• Employ basic computer tools (MS Office and internal platforms) to effectively manage calls and record activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college education is preferred.
• Proficient in English and Italian with a B2+ level or higher.
• Capable of passing a language and interpreting skills evaluation.
• At least 6 months of experience in call centers, customer service, or interpreting.
• Strong verbal communication, bilingual accuracy, and ethical judgment are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to think clearly and act professionally in fast-paced, emotionally complex scenarios.
• A strong sense of professional responsibility, integrity, and time management skills.
• Comfortable with assertive communication and managing session control.
• Basic computer skills, including typing and navigating MS Office.
• A quiet, distraction-free workspace that facilitates active listening and sustained focus.
