Bilingual Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Deliver verbal interpretation services between patients and healthcare providers.

• Precisely interpret medical discussions, encompassing patient history, diagnosis, treatment options, and instructions.

• Aid in translating medical documents and forms.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with professional and ethical standards.

• Keep updated on medical terminology and procedures.

• Foster rapport and build trust with patients and healthcare professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust to various dialects and accents.

• Excellent listening and comprehension capabilities.

• Highly professional and empathetic approach.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

• Personal Computer or Cellphone is necessary.

• Computer requirements: Intel Core i5 processor (8th generation or newer) or Ryzen 5 (3000 series or higher), minimum 4 cores / 8 threads, 8–16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD or larger.

• Wired Ethernet connection is mandatory; VPN usage is prohibited, and work must be conducted solely from the approved location.

• A wired headset with a boom microphone, unidirectional and featuring noise cancellation; wireless devices, earbuds, and speakers are not permitted.

• Camera must have 1080p resolution, 30–60 fps, and autofocus capabilities.

• Prohibited from storing company information, making recordings, taking screenshots, or utilizing built-in translation features.
