Bilingual Integration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and implement integrations tailored to client needs utilizing Flexspring’s integration framework.

• Partner with Project Managers to assess client data mappings and technical documentation.

• Conduct integration testing, assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), and oversee go-live processes.

• Create documentation for integration logic, configuration specifics, and technical details for both clients and internal teams.

• Diagnose production integration challenges, ascertain root causes, and execute solutions while adhering to established support SLAs.

• Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams throughout the development, testing, and support phases.

• Log investigation processes and solutions in the case management system (Salesforce Service Cloud) while keeping stakeholders updated.

• Propel support cases to resolution by collaborating with Support, Technical Consultants, third-party partners, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

• Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.

• Extensive backend development experience, with a strong command of Java.

• Familiarity with Groovy or similar JVM-based programming languages.

• Experience with contemporary frontend frameworks such as React (or equivalent).

• Practical experience in developing or supporting API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).

• Knowledge of file-based integrations (SFTP, CSV, XML, JSON).

• Strong understanding of system-to-system data flows, authentication protocols, and error resolution.

• Preference for candidates with experience in HRIS and/or Payroll system integrations.

• Familiarity with ERP/financial systems or insight into how payroll data affects reporting and General Ledger processes is a plus.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts, integration logic, and data mappings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• A proactive ownership mindset and capacity to operate effectively in a fully remote setup.
