Bilingual Integration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and implement integrations tailored to client specifications utilizing Flexspring’s integration framework.

• Partner with Project Managers to assess client data mappings and technical documentation.

• Conduct integration testing, assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), and oversee go-live processes.

• Create documentation for integration logic, configuration specifics, and technical details for both clients and internal teams.

• Diagnose production integration challenges, determine root causes, and devise solutions while adhering to established support SLAs.

• Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams throughout the phases of development, testing, and support.

• Record investigation steps and solutions in the case management system (Salesforce Service Cloud) and keep stakeholders updated.

• Steward support cases to resolution by collaborating with Support, Technical Consultants, third-party partners, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and relevant experience.

• Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.

• Significant backend development experience, with strong expertise in Java.

• Experience with Groovy or similar JVM-based programming languages.

• Familiarity with contemporary frontend frameworks such as React (or comparable).

• Practical experience in building or supporting API-based integrations (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).

• Knowledge of file-based integrations (SFTP, CSV, XML, JSON).

• In-depth understanding of system-to-system data flows, authentication, and error management.

• Previous experience with or integration of HRIS and/or Payroll systems is highly desirable.

• Exposure to ERP/financial systems or insight into how payroll data influences reporting and General Ledger processes is advantageous.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts, integration logic, and data mappings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A high level of ownership and the capability to work efficiently in a fully remote setting.
