Bilingual Full-Cycle Medical Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Submit clean claims through electronic means and paper forms.

• Verify eligibility, benefits, and coverage with insurance providers.

• Accurately apply CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, and HCPCS codes.

• Process claims across various specialties and types of payers.

• Manage Workers’ compensation claims, Auto accident claims, and Out-of-network billing processes.

• Review Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and address claim discrepancies.

• Track denied or rejected claims and resubmit corrected information.

• Follow up with insurance companies regarding claims that are unpaid or underpaid.

• Appeal claim denials and resolve any billing discrepancies.

• Contact patients about outstanding balances and payment arrangements.

• Accurately post payments and reconcile accounts.

• Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and prioritize collection efforts.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality.

• Keep detailed records of claims, payments, denials, appeals, and patient billing communications.

• Stay informed on billing regulations, coding updates, and payer requirements.

• Ensure that billing documentation is accurate and ready for audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) — REQUIRED.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher is required.

• At least 1–2 years of experience in Medical billing, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or U.S. healthcare administration.

• Prior experience supporting medical practices based in the U.S. is REQUIRED.

• Strong knowledge of insurance claims, Accounts Receivable follow-up, medical billing processes, denial management, and EOB interpretation.

• Proficient in CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and HCPCS coding.

• Experience with medical billing software such as Kareo, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, DrChrono, or similar systems.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Strong attention to detail and sense of accountability.
